He's just stating the hard facts. We wasted upwards over a trillion over the last two decades training and arming the Afghans who, at the end of the day, had zero interest in fighting for freedom. Not sure how that's Biden's fault.

There is a difference between zero interest in fighting and a low probability in winning. It is possible, and likely, that both were true. That doesn't change the fact that the debacle and lack of planning was indeed blamed on the Afghan forces' lack of interest in fighting. Yes, the blaming is real and the blaming is obnoxious and the blaming is disgusting. But go on there hard charger, you just keep making excuses for why it is someone else's fault that this debacle is happening.

The obvious solution to the ‘debacle’ of the Afghani military not engaging the Taliban is for us to do the fighting for them. Or to tell them what to do and how to do it and force them to do that. Or to supply them with more and better equipment than the Taliban had and force them to use it. It’s all that simple, according to some.
