Legit contractors take advantage of opportunities, and vacation in slow times. The opportunities right now, with filtration and ventilation reworks due to covid requirements, are immense. Legitimate contractors are making the most of the situation, which is much appreciated, as the requirements are not always clear. Even ASHRAE recognizes that, and those who can interpret the local engineering requirements are in huge demand, by school systems, universities, research facilities, supermarket chains, hospitals and emergent care facilities, municipal buildings, public libraries, etc. The list goes on and on. Contractors who can address the issues are in demand at every level, in every specialty, right now.

So no, not everyone is taking a vacation.

Honestly? If what passes for conservative posting is low information non-dialog spamming, I think the board has been better off without conservative posters. I say that as someone who actually agrees the board can be a bit of an echo chamber. But no one is helping that by being a wrecker.

To be clear, the statement I made is the board is better off without the kinds of spam posting you are putting up. Your political views aren't relevant other than as a point you reference since you appear to believe the issue is with conservative posters rather than spammers.
