RI would you please check our numbers for me? I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. El Paso County, CO. Then I'll get back to you on this.
I’m not trying to Grinch your Christmas. Honest!

Your new case rate is about double ours, but yours is coming down while ours is going up. It looks like the most recent measures your governor ordered are having a pretty strong impact. If that trend continues, you could be in pretty decent shape in 10 days. It looks like your hospitals are in kinda tough shape, and that will take longer to improve.

But I personally think the most important thing is how much you can trust the other two bubbles.

I'm not hearing that our hospitals are in tough shape. I don't know what you are looking at. I'll see what I can find out.

I absolutely trust the other bubbles. No one is socializing, not going to dine in restaurants, not going inside stores and such. In fact, one bubble temporarily opted out of 1 main friendship on account of the fact that those folks are not following guidelines. Sort of like the coffee guy got lectured and shoved out of the coffee group for the time being. Education here is all e-learning. The house remodeler is masked when drawing up contracts with clients. When he is working, he's in an empty home alone. One person works in a medical environment. All masked, all day, all curbside for veterinary services with regular hand washing, sanitization and disinfecting. The first bubble that was here, wore masks when I asked them to (only complained because they never leave their bubble--Mom is a hard ass I guess.) and hand washed/sanitized without any prompting. The other bubble, masks if they come over without being asked and we do no-contact dog sleep over drop offs at their invitation, not my request.

Not one person is holding the neighbor's baby. ;-)

So...on one hand, I know I am bargaining but on the other hand, I think if I wear a mask in this house where one window is always open and keep my distance as much as possible...I think the calculated risk might work in my favor. If I don't feel right about it, I will leave. Everyone knows I will leave.

Thanks for the feed back. I don't really like writing down details like this but maybe someone else is in a similar situation trying to work things out and will see something that rings true for them. Thank you for being a sounding board.

After God answered my question. ;-) See how I got that in? Yes, I did.

Yes, you did. :)

I got the hospital information from a note next to the dial thing on your county health department web page.

Good article explaining the ins and outs of bubbles. How to and how not to.

Help I need an outlet and I need it quick! I just found out that one of the bubbles isn't secure. I'm devastated at this very moment! I mean like shot down, discouraged, and also kind of feeling a bit insulted by it. Like I just got punched in the stomach.

I will have to suck it up and figure this out now. I might have to rethink my approach for C'mas. My heart is broken. I need to get more information.
