2 Nephi 29:7-8 declares that God speaks to all nations, saying, "Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?"IWMP wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 3:04 pmWhat if all the monotheistic "gods" are all the same God, just a different perspective with different experiences creating the picture? Like looking at different sides of the same object, the picture can be very different. We can't see the full story. Just a thought. I'm sure that's probably oversimplified.
2 Nephi 29:11-12 further elaborates on this concept: "For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them... I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it."
Alma 29:8 is another relevant scripture that states: "For behold, the Lord doth grant unto all nations, of their own nation and tongue, to teach his word, yea, in wisdom, all that he seeth fit that they should have."
I think the creator God of all things speaks to all nations according to "that [which] they should have". Even to the point of using different messengers and voices and sacred writings.
