Weird how Hamas and Hezbollah fighting an existential war through any means available to them is terrorism, but Haganah, Irgun, Lehi killing around 6000 Arabs and various other civilians (to include the British) is never brought up. Funny how Jews, pre-Zionism owned around 6% percent of Palestine, but now own around 88% and that’s fine according to Jews and Christians.

Isn’t Zionism just another form of supremacism? I don’t know how the state of Israel could’ve been created better, but it seems the Zionists behind the British Mandate for Palestine have been maliciously screwing over the Arabs, or Palestinians, since the 19th and 20th centuries. And why have they got away with it? Because God chooooooooose them and the Arabs are less than the Chosen People, no?

There is no moral upside to this one. It’s wrong. And it’s become evil. Are we to expect that the Palestinians just give up and hope the Israelis will treat them as equals? We know, and they know, that’ll never happen; and it’s because of the supremacist idea that a god chooses them to be above everyone else. It’s awful.

I have come to the conclusion that Zionism and Jewish Supremacy is not any less reprehensible than white supremacy or any other kind of racial or ethnic supremacy. I think that it is possible and even likely that, when all things are considered, Zionism may have done more harm than good to the world in general, even to Judaism itself. I have long ago abandoned the Biblical notion that a just and all-wise supreme being ever meant for the Israelites or any other group of people to be specially chosen and blessed over all others, especially considering the turmoil, injustice and mutually hateful intolerance that has resulted and is still resulting from this notion.

It's funny how the writers or supposed "prophets" always choose their own people to be the "chosen" ones destined to rule the world. Joseph Smith did the same thing in his writings. Go figure.

This is not a hostile comment, but if I was a citizen of the US I would prefer to be told that I was equal to everybody else in the sight of the law, rather than in the sight of a deity. I mean, we can all see by what happens to people whether the law treats them equally. But how can we tell what a deity (whose identity, nature and very existence are highly problematic) thinks of someone?
