The Democrats just vaporized $2.1 billion in this election.
It hasn’t vaporized. It went to a whole slew of consultants, advertising agencies and media providers. ; )
The Democrats need to subsidize like 1000 podcasts and youtube shows instead of buying ads on NBC or ABC. They need to be scouting Twitch and Youtube for liberal content creators and platforming them the way baseball scouts camp out at baseball diamonds in the Dominican Republic. But not political content creators. They need gamers who play Call of Duty for 3 hours and casually mention politics twice a stream.

Actually, the comment I responded to said nothing about compelling candidate.
And mine said nothing about turning MAGA reasonable.

Being unreasonable does not equate to fascism. But the left keeps banging that drum.

Fascism has become “anything the left doesn’t like.”
Simply not true, drumdude. That’s the kind of lazy, sloppy, unproductive finger pointing that kills the chance for fixing anything in this broken country.

Republicans have been calling every single Democrat a Communist for years now. That’s looney tunes. They don’t care. And it hasn’t hurt them in elections at all.

Trump is the leader of a fascist/authoritarian/totalitarian mass movement of the type that is attacking all of the western democracies. What is insane is not calling it what it is. Democracies die when scared and angry people turn to a strongman and vote him into power. That’s where we are today. Whether it’s Victor Orban or Hugo Chavez, the playbook is the same.

You’re sitting around complaining that a whole lot of other people didn’t serve you up your perfect meal.

Don’t forget ‘radical leftist’. That term has also been so overused over the last two decades as to be almost comical to rational people, at this point.

It still makes MAGA folks get all excited and wet their britches, though. : D

Are those bad things?
North Korea will be sending troops to Ukraine to support Russian troops. Should we also lend a hand?
If “we” means the U.S. military, then no. If “lend a hand” means increase the deficit by sending billions more dollars, then no.

I’m sure that those billionaires have your best interests in mind.
; )
That's the beauty of capitalism. Elon Musk has done more for lower income people than anyone alive today. His genius has created wealth. Yet Democrats would rather be equally poor than have to endure living with the fact that someone else has earned much more, even if they're better off themselves than they would be under the communism.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

LOL. You aren’t a capitalist. You hate capitalism.

Elon has done nothing for lower income people. He’s created wealth for Elon and other wealthy stockholders. And shields his wealth from taxation in ways the poor can’t. And your hero will make that worse by trying to replace income taxes, which are somewhat progressive with a sales tax, in the form of a tariff, which is highly regressive. Elon and his billionaire buds will pay less and lower income folks will pay more.

Trump and his billionaire buds are going to make your share of the wealth created by the national economy shrink, while duping you into blaming poor back and brown people.

You poor dupe.

That is an extreme opinion that most Americans don’t agree with.

When Trump steps down again in 4 years, will you admit that this was an extreme and unrealistic fear? How else can you compare a dictator who rules for life with a president who serves his term after being duly elected?

”I've said many times: You can't love your country only when you win,” Biden said. “You can't love your neighbor only when you agree. Something I hope we can do, no matter who you voted for, is to see each other not as adversaries but as fellow Americans.”
Seeing Americans who voted for Trump as voting for a fascist is a losing strategy to win over the American electorate.

It’s time to bring the temperature down. The endless screaming about Trump being the 4th horseman of the apocalypse didn’t work in 2016, and it’s not going to work now. The party of “not Trump” needs to find itself again.

Trump campaigned on being a fascist. Just cause he might be too lazy and/or incompetent doesn’t make it less so the ideal he campaigned on. I guess attempted murder we should say that hey they didn’t murder, so no harm, no foul.
