Well, I think almost everything else has been attempted at this point (could try the kitchen sink?), so unless something unforeseen happens in the next few weeks, it looks like we are down to Harris winning the election.

Quite a few polls have Trump receiving a bit of a boost right now. Unless Harris does and/or says something next-level stupid, I think we're all going to be waiting for final numbers to trickle in to know who our next President is. I believe (and perhaps I'm wrong), that right now the election outcome is about a 50/50 toss-up.

I think ending the United States is an important goal that Republicans have kept under wraps. Maintaining power in a fascist state and the chance to wear high-top leather boots and carry a riding crop is an outcome they greatly desire.

The boost is due to a couple of things. First, a ton of partisan R polls were dumped, while only a single D poll was reported. Second, in the shift from reporting “registered voters” to “likely voters,” many polls are overweighting the responses of 2020 voters who say they will vote for Trump. They are doing this because the polls underpredicted Trump’s votes in 2020.
