Winter Blizzard...and the cat shall lie down with the dog
Hello All,
Nothing in this forum so far. Since there is a better than even chance that I will not be able to connect here for long today due to what seems to be imminent loss of power to my home, I thought I'd like to take a moment to report the blizzard we're having today. Over a foot of snow (not much by Rocky Mountain standards) was dumped over night and high winds today. Everything is closed! Including my work \o/\o/\o/ ! All the animals are inside together. Here's the headcount 1 Outside dog, 1 Outside cat, 2 Inside dogs, 1 Inside cat, a couple of pond sliders and a feeder mouse that was rescued from being dinner to a snake. Remarkably everyone is peaceful and napping!
Our power is flickering which is not a good thing. Being on a well system, if we lose power we lose water as well. We have survived far worse than this. So anyway, hoping to maintain contact here to post (I really want to try to pursue the Gospel Dating thread up in the Celestial Forum) and other than that I'm off to find a good DVD and sort through my scrapbooking junk!
Let it snow!

As turns out, we did not lose power and the snow has stopped. All major roads are closed with family members at various locations and all is well. 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 pond sliders and 1 feeder mouse are all still in Siesta mode. Significant power outages around our area...and the DVD goes on and on and on....
Ice to follow,

Are you SICK?
What do you say that I am?
Then we'd have cat-dogs everywhere...
Yes, I do have cats and dogs everywhere.
Death on the spot to cats who mix their blood with dogs!
So far no mixing of blood has taken place Porter, get your mind out of the gutter.
