By definition, Mr. Scratch is not a person; he's just posts on an internet board. He could be multiple people. He could be computer-generated text.

Same could be said for Plutarch.

You know who I am. I have identified myself many times. Posting psuedonymously is not the same as anonymously. Or do you not know the difference?

I know who you say you are, but that doesn't mean that's who you are. I've trusted men before, only to find out they were lying to me. You could be a computer in Timbuktoo for all I know.

As to whether or not I am merely some fluctuation within "The Matrix", as it were, I refuse to say. Moreover, this smacks of an ad hominem, or "straw man," (or would that be "virtual man"?) attack. ; )

Can one make an ad hominem against an anonymous person? After all, the term means, "to the man."

Sure you can. By the same logic, are you saying that you can't make an ad hominem against a woman?

Wiki:
...It must be clear that the purpose of the characterization is to discredit the person offering the argument, and, specifically, to invite others to discount his arguments.

This is exactly what you're doing with this thread of yours.

Good point! Only women are "saved" in childbearing. Men are saved by working out their salvation. Or so it seems.

Thoughts are apparently absent from your initiating post, that's for sure.
And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race
Lost in time
And lost in space...and meaning

Is Mr Scratch without substance? Well we all know that there's no such thing as immaterial matter because if there were it wouldn't matter.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.
