It's just a guess, but once everybody decided to stop playing along with Wade's game, he took his ball and went home.

If Tal starts posting, Wade'll be back.

I think Wade is rightly pissed off. No one interferred with Tal's thread asking him questions, but as soon as Wade starts a personal thread to talk to Tal, everyone jumps in to divert it. Okay, you may not agree with his views, but how about having at least some respect for his thread? Too late now. This was supposed to be "my interview with Tal". Could you not at least respect that?

They can always start a new thread. I think they're should have been some moderation of the first interview, and the unresolved issues from Tal's interview with Wade need to be resolved before they carry on.

Maybe they can carry on at a later point.

On the other thread, Wade said he'd be gone for a while. Something came up in his real life, and he had to temporarily back off. Let's not read anything more into than that until he says differently.

I didn't see that. But I think a new thread should be started, and it should be left to Tal and Wade. If Tal doesn't agree with Wade starting his interview if there are unresolved issues from Tal's interview, then let them sort that out between them.

Tal Bachman wrote:Yes, here is one thing: I know that it is true that consciousness exists.

How do you know that? In other words, what is the basis for that knowledge?

Wade

I know it is true there is such a thing as consciousness, because I myself am conscious.

How do you know you are conscious? In other words, on what is your knowledge of consciousness based?
