Shades: Since when did God decree that toilet seats must remain down,

Jersey Girl: When she created the lid to close it. Duh.

I think you maybe single for a long long time....well unless you have the inside scoop as to when Jesus will be returning

But being single is not so bad....you can leave the seat up and no will care...

LOL. No quite. My daughter will be, err, pissed off?

You know, the whole "toilet seat up" thing is, in my opinion, one of those common assumptions that breaks down under scrutiny.

For example, lots of people say, "No two snowflakes are ever alike." But when you think about it, how can anyone possibly claim that? Who is up there examining every single snowflake and comparing it to every other snowflake that ever fell? I'll bet a lot of snowflakes are exactly alike!

Similarly, lots of people say, "Einstein only used 10% of his brain." But, again, when you think about it, how can anyone possibly know that? Einstein is dead! How can anyone possibly know how much of his brain he did or didn't use? For all anyone knows, he used 100% of it!

So it goes with the "toilet seat up" phenomenon: Since when did God decree that toilet seats must remain down, and women ought to complain to men about leaving it up, and men must learn to leave the seat down, and must apologize when they leave it up? Why shouldn't toilet seats be expected to remain up, and men ought to complain to women about leaving it down, and women must learn to leave the seat up, and must apologize when they leave it down?
Shades, I was the same way.

Until one night I fell in the damn bowl.

Go in without turning on the light to take a dump, if that seat is up you WILL shiver.

It literally scared me s***less.

"Will Shiver". . . Is that where Will Schryver got his name?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Was married in the temple (25 years ago) and I guess, am still sealed. Yuck!

Oh well, the second one was a Shinto (Japan) ceremony. That one didn't stick either.

Now, happily living with partner, with a third out somewhere on the horizon?
