I could respond on the MAD board if I were to email the mods to retrieve my password. I am not banned.

I have considered doing so, but I just cannot bring myself to participate on that board again. The idea of being some token critic who has to watch her Ps and Qs while watching believers like Juliann engage in flagrant rudeness (for example, repeatedly calling me a liar and accusing me of plagiarism, without ever having providing a bit of evidence for either assertion) is just a bit too much for me to stomach.

I don't particularly care for participating on Z, either, due to the unfair actions taken against you and Shades recently, but I consider it the lesser of two evils at this point. I post there ONLY to give Juliann a "safer" place to respond to me than on this board.

She's a coward with a long history of abusive tactics. If that's the best the church can produce, we're all doomed.

I'm right there with you about posting on the FAIRly MAD board, beastie. I could post there again if I wished to as well, however, my "fed up" meter gave out a month before I was banned. It's one thing to be willing to engage when you know you're in the minority so far as position goes, it's quite another to offer yourself up as one of few cat toys to be batted around.

And what did Cal ever decide about Shade's banning? I see no follow up there.

He's still banned as far as I know. And I do view that as an ethical breach, as I openly voiced. I wouldn't post there at all, either, but I really do want to give Juliann a chance to respond on neutral territory (and while not by design, this is obviously unfriendly territory). I think it's quite odd she refuses to do so. But it may serve her purposes to keep her responses separated from mine, because I suspect most readers aren't bothering to read what I am actually saying, and are just relying on her reporting.

This board is neutral as far as moderating is concerned, but there are far too many critics who are openly critical of Juliann for her to be comfortable posting here. I don't blame her for that, although that certainly hasn't happened by design, just by the fact that, as history has shown, believers largely prefer a board that has a moderating style that offers them extra protection - in numbers and in moderating. That is why I mirrored the thread on the Z board, which is pretty silent nowadays, and certainly has moderators very friendly to Juliann.
