A Numbers Thread at MA&D

There is now a new Discussion Thread over at the "FAIR"/MA&D Board about what the Statistical Numbers have been over there. This Discussion Thread is titled there, “Time To Do The Numbers..., “ and it was started by our friend ‘The Dude’ over there. Here is what The Dude wrote in his Original Post over there:

What's it been now, a month since the MA&D board was cut loose from it's former moorings at port FAIR? I'm curious if there has been any major changes in traffic. Has there been a sudden drop off of older posters, or a drop in new members, since we set sail from FAIR?

I guess what I'm asking is, if all you had in front of you were the numbers for the last year, would you be able to point to December 2006 and say, "something happened here."

(I know there are some who want this community to die -- I'm not one of them. So from me this is not a loaded question. )

I kinda' liked the boat metaphor in my OP, but wagons work too. So how's our wagon train doing since we left Fort FAIR?

Our averages for the month of December 2006 are as follows
683 average posts a day
26 average topics a day
6500 topic views a day not index hits.

For the year 2005 we had more topic views but less posting. So we haven't seen much of a drop off yet, but you never know our doom has been prophesied by the end of 2007. I give a lot credit to the moderation team for the success of this site, after kicking out the trouble makers the tone of the board has been better.

Is the head Moderator Chaos there, when referring to kicking out the 'trouble makers' there, is he mainly referring to the November 5th ‘purge' that happened over there?

LOL! I am glad you are here Moksha with us with your sense of humor. You being booted off the "FAIR"/MA&D Board is their loss and our gain. And Apparently, The "FAIR"/MA&D Board is still singing off key, since they still don't have Tal Bachman Posting over there, even though they now have a Discussion thread about him, about what he stated about 'LDS Epistemology' a little while ago. Anyway, I love this music video of Tal Bachman on youtube.

P.S. They do now have Tal Bachman starting to Post over there, so they are kind of singing on tune over there at the "FAIR"/MA&D Board now.
