OK, techies, now what?
A question for the techies on the board. I just tried to open the MA&D board and got a File Download Security Warning. Never happened before. WTH?

Never download a file unless you specifically clicked on a link to do so and are expecting it. Somteimes it means the site was hacked and is being used to further distrubite a virus. In this particular case I doubt they've been hacked.
Everything is up and running--at least for now.

I got that too. I logged off for a while and it came back on. I think they may have been doing some routine maintenance. But I'm not a techie so what do I know.

Works for me. I just made a post few minutes ago.
Another techie trick for the internet: never browse as an administrator (most people do). On Windows XP, what I have done s create a new account that is neither Administrator nor a Power User. That is the only account I will use to browse the internet. It helps prevent malware from automatically installing. And even if malware does manage to install itself, it becomes easier to remove it from the other account which is an administrator.
