Shades Absence

Post by _Negative »

Dr. Shades has asked me to let everyone know that he’s going to be away from the Forums for a week or so. During that time I’ll be around more to help moderate the forums but I’m asking everyone to help be my eyes. If you see something that needs to be addressed please send me and/or Keene a PM.

If, for some reason, you need to talk to Shades send me a PM about it and I’ll pass the message to him.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

My e-mail address is keenemaverick@gmail.com -- If you send me an e-mail it gets to me immediately. PM's get to me slower.

Thanks all!

Thanks to Negative for posting that on my behalf, and thanks to everyone who kept their cool in my moderatorial absence.

I recently had brow and lid surgery, so my eyes were on ice until now. I'm still swollen and bruised, but I'm better enough to view a computer monitor.

So although I'm back, there's no way I'll be able to catch up with all the activity, so Negative's advice still applies: If you see something questionable (or something blatant, for that matter), rather than "backseat moderating," PLEASE just send me a PM and I'll take care of everything. I'm only one guy, so until the need arises to hire another moderator, your help is appreciated to be my eyes and ears.

Thanks again!

Nope. The shades are fine; it's the eyes that weren't. :-)

I think so, but I'll feel much better when the stitches are out and the swelling and bruising are gone.

On our side of the pond we only worry about one facial feature.
