I seriously doubt if redheads will be gone by 2100. Seems that it would take longer for the genes to completely go away. But I guess that's the way of the world and things go extinct. I'm pulling for the redheads, though cause we blondes are next.

Is it possible that Juliann asked that it be shut down on a moderator only thread after she had her say, or else did it herself in under the Momus name? I can't imagine the thread was really closed without her approval ahead of time. Liz, you would know, is this another off-base thought on my part or not?

It's not off-base at all.
I have no way of knowing who "Momus" is, but whoever he/she is, it's certainly convenient that he/she didn't show up to stop the thread until after it had escalated to the lengths it had.

I would think there was some cordination, seeing as Peterson and Juliann got their posts in right before it was shut down. I was writing a response, and was rather mad at losing it. The message for closing happened exactly 1 minute after Peterson's post.
