Anna Nicole Smith (sorry, I had to)
Is anyone else totally creeped out by the Anna Nicole Smith story? As I write this, apparently police in the Bahama's are searching her residence for evidences in the case of the death of her son, Daniel. A hand full of males are pushing for DNA paternity testing. Her mother is trying to gain custody of her infant daughter for as she claims, none of the males was married to her. There's photos of her and a Bahamian official in bed plastered in the tabloids. Her body sits on hold in a morgue in Florida decomposing.
And a 3 month old infant is without it's mother.
You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried.

I can't stand the story. I thought she was an idiot the first time I saw her, I think she's in the idiot afterlife. She's dragged her 15 minutes of fame into nearly 15 years to the detriment of society. The really sad part is that the lawyers are going to eat most of the money she and her late husbands descendents are fighting over. They should split the money, call it a day, and let America go back to it's staged reality TV shows.
Don't mind me, I'm grumpy tonight.

I agree with you about the attorneys. This has got to be one of the seediest, tackiest, messiest, creepiest, scandalous events I've ever heard of.

Theres a war going on and real heros are dieing, and we get wall to wall coverage of a dead prostitute. Not even the news anchors understand why they are asked to discuss this.
Is this a blonde with big boobs thing? Maybe because that's not my taste in women is why I don't get it.
Wheres Walter Cronkite when you need him.

It is the press attempting to create another Marilyn Monroe...not realizing that it was they who made this impossible in the first place.

There was an FBI investigator on MSNBC (or something like that) stating her belief that Anna's son Daniel was murdered.
Your thoughts?
Your thoughts?

It is freaky, and sad. And the woman had parts of her funeral planned, the dress she was going to be buried in, the casket bought...
So sad...
Does anyone suspect foul play?
Shades, do you think Daniel was murdered? Do you think someone slipped him something before he went to the hospital? What would be the point of killing him?
This stuff is all over MSNBC and other news channels, alternating between that, real life, and Britney shaving her big head. What's the world coming to?

If they spoonfeed the public enough candy news, they wont worry about the meatier problems.
Seriously, should britney shaving her head be on the serious news, or should it be contained to "The Soup"? Does Bill O'reilly really need to be discussing a dead prostitute? Or should he be covering corrupt polititions and why they are all leaving office as millionaires?
Investigative reporting is a dead art.
