Illegal aliens are killing more Americans than the Iraq war, says a new report from Family Security Matters that estimates some 2,158 murders are committed every year by illegal aliens in the U.S. The group says that number is more than 15 percent of all the murders reported by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the U.S. and about three times the representation of illegal aliens in the general population.
Mike Cutler, a former senior special agent with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (the former INS), is a fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies and an advisor to Family Security Matters (FSM). He says the high number of Americans being killed by illegal aliens is just part of the collateral damage that comes with tolerating illegal immigration.
"The military actually called for the BORTAC team, ... the elite unit of the Border Patrol, to be detailed to Iraq to help to secure the Iraqi border," Cutler notes. "Now, if our military can understand that Iraq's security depends in measure on the ability to protect its border against insurgents and terrorists, then why isn't our country similarly protecting our own borders?" he asks.
"We are now five and a half years, nearly, after 9/11, and yet our borders remain open," the Center for Immigration Studies fellow observes. "We have National Guardsmen assigned on the border, but it turns out they are unarmed," he points out. "Their rules of engagement are very simple: if armed intruders head your way, run in the other direction."
This situation would "almost be comical if it wasn't so tragic," Cutler asserts. "If our borders are wide open, this means that drugs, criminals, and terrorists are entering our country just as easily as the dishwashers," he says.
The report from FSM estimates that the 267,000 illegal aliens currently incarcerated in the nation are responsible for nearly 1,300,000 crimes, ranging from drug arrests to rape and murder. Such statistics, Cutler contends, debunk the claim that illegal immigration is a victimless crime. "Then we even have another problem," he adds, "and that's the Visa Waiver Program."
The federal government's Visa Waiver Program enables nationals of certain countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. According to the U.S. State Department website, the waiver program was established in 1986 with the objective of "eliminating unnecessary barriers to travel," stimulating America's tourism industry, and allowing the government to focus consular resources in other areas.
Cutler says the U.S. retains the Visa Waiver Program because the nation's travel, tourism, and hospitality industries want America's borders wide open. In other words, the former INS official contends, the nation's security is being compromised in the name of trade.

This is why I urge my fellow Americans to support the "Mr. Coffee Border Security Act".
First we build a 10mx5m wall about 100m inside of Mexico's side of the border. Yeah, the Mexican's might bitch and whine for a bit. Do we care? Not really...
Second, we build another wall 100m on our side of the border that is 20mx10m. Why so big? Well, the second wall will have bench rests spaced ever 100m along it's length with elevators large enough to accomidate light artillery peices ever 500m. Why? I'll get to it...
Third, the 200m zone between the two walls will be seeded with anti-personnel mines with an average density or 1 mine per M^3. Some people might argue that this is an absurd amount of mines to emplace and would cost to much in terms of manpower to emplace the mines and the cost of the mines themselves. Those people are called "Democrats" and when I become Supreme Dictator of the US, they will be among the first to be lined up against the wall. Fact is, we have more then enough mines in the inventory to do this and we can very easilly emplace them with not just Engineer teams, but with Aircraft and Artillery (Both 155m guns and the MLRS have area denial munitions).
Fourth, we sell licenses to American Citizens to man the US Wall and "hunt" Illegals. Cost per license will be $1000+$200per Illegal Killed. With this the wall pretty much pays for itself.
Fifth... If be some rendom act of chance that an Illegal makes it over the first wall, through the mine field/gunnery range, and over the second wall without getting killed the moment their foot touches US soil they instantly get whisked away to an English Language School and have a bank account with a $200,000 balance given to them and are immediately granted US Citizenship. Why? Because if you want to be an American that damned bad then you've EARNED IT.

The sad part about this sarcastic/hilarious answer (at least I hope it's sarcastic) is that I bet you could find 1,000 people in America who would pay a $1000 to guard the border with a "License to Kill".

sarcasm aside, i WANT people to come legaly. Im the decendant of people who came to america legaly. I would be a complete idiot if i didn't support immigration. The issue is, there are MANY problems that arrise from not knowing the people who come here illegaly. Talk to any doctor who works in southern california for example. Im by no means dispariging the people who come here illegaly in good faith to work. Protection and US legal rights do not in my opinion extend to those who came here under illicit pretenses. Hell, you come into the US legaly, show me your green card. Ill buy your first round as an american in celebration. (no joke, if your a new citizen of the US in the provo utah area, shoot me an email. Ill buy you a round and toast to you.)
I know some of you will try to use the argument that the current laws on immigration are not adequate. But we are in freaking america. Its a democracy here. we can CHANGE the laws through a process called voting. Untill then, the people here illegaly are still breaking the law. As such, they should be subject to them. Ever look at what they do to illegal immigrants in mexico? look it up some time and then tell me im being harsh.

If I thought it would put a dent in the illegal immigration problem, $1000 would be a very small price to pay. What are we supposed to do, just let them all in? What do you think is going to happen then?
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Last year the Mexican military was caught helping drug runners at the border, they pointed their weapons at the border patrol and made them watch while the drug runners got the goods off their broke down vehicle then set fire to it and ran.
Texas ranchers are already using a licence to kill to protect their homes that are routinely raided by illegals who grab what they can and run back home.
A fence is an idiotic idea. A good idea would be series of towers with 50 cal. sniper rifles with humvee support on the ground. Station these about a mile apart using national guard members to man them (Like the name says National Guard) The problem would be drasticly cut down after the first 50 are shot trying to cross illegaly. Demand the mexican government post in the newspapers the photos of the deceased or we cut funding, and the problem would dry up.
I can testify that in the last 6 years the entire face of las vegas has changed. What peeves me off is the small things, like why the hell do I have to choose a language at a ATM machine? Why does my menu at the local IHOP have the spanish translation at the bottom of each item on the menu? Why am I paying for spanish channels on my basic cable? Wrong...wrong...wrong.

Hi All Here,
The Bush Administration has been pretty horrendous on illegal Immigration. I agree that there should be a fence on some parts of the Border, but I a not for building a fence for the whole border, mostly because of a couple of Environment issues with a very, very long fence. What really needs to be done is that our Federal Government needs to support our Border Patrol Agents a lot more, and they need give them more of the equipment and more of the tools they need in order to protect our Borders a lot more effectively. The Bush Administration has been pretty much horrible in supporting the Border Patrol agents out there trying to protect our Borders. The Bush Administration has also pretty much well demonstrated that they care more about illegal drug smugglers than they do about the Border Patrol agents on the lines defending our borders, mainly because with what has happened to the two Border Patrol agents, who were defending themselves against an illegal drug smuggler whom these Border Patrol agents thought believed were a real threat to them, and they thought and believed that he had a weapon. (The illegal drug smuggler was never charged and prosecuted with his drug smuggling.) Both of these two former Border Patrol agents have already been sent into Prison, and they are now supposed to be serving at least 11 years in prison each. I totally disagree with those way too long prison sentences of what those two former Border Patrol agents each got, and now a lot of other Border Patrol agents are afraid to do their jobs efficiency mainly because of that case. These two Border Patrol agents need to be released from prison immediately and be freed. (A lot of our sea ports are still not adequately secure.) The Bush Administration should pretty much feel ashamed of themselves, over their failure to protect our borders.

I'd be one of them. I understanmd that the majority of illegals are just entering my country looking for an honest job. But I've personally delt with way the hell to many of them that are theiving little wastes of air, on one occasion causing me to clear the holster with my conceiled carry piece in order to get them to cease and desist their activities. So yeah, $1000 plus $200 a head and a I get to test the ballastics of some of my handloads on live targets...
That being said...

My grandparents on my father's side immigrated to the US from Germany in the early 1930's. They came here barely speaking a word of english and with little more than the clothes they were wearing. Granpa Joe was so hardcore about adopting the culture of his new country that he learned english, he worked hard, and he became an American. He didn't identify himself as a "German-American", he was an American. American to the point where he forbade speaking german in his home and served in the United States Marine Corps during WWII and the Korean War.
That's a huge grip I have with not just Illegals but also with a lot of Legal Immigrants. If you come to my country then you better damned well learn to communicate in a language I understand. You are a newbie here and it is YOUR responsibility to adopt my culture, not the other way around. I'm all for removing all bi-lingual singage in the US... You want to be an American then be an American. I see you waving the flag of a foriegn nation higher than the flag of my nation and I'll probably pick a fight just so I can stomp your guts out and piss on your foriegn flag.
So if they come here legally, they inculcate themselves into the culture of my country and they learn to speak the same language as I do, then they are welcome to come here. Hell, I'll even give them a job.
If not, we'll... Let's get to building the walls.

It's called the Castle Doctrine. Basically it means that Texans have the right to employ deadly force in defense of persons or property within the limits of their property line. If a Texan feels that their possessions or people with in the confines of their yard are threatened they have the right to use deadly force. It also extends to personal vehicles.
For example, a couple years ago I caught a pair of illegals trying to break into my Camaro (1969 SS with a 400ci small block). When confronted one of them pulled a knife and started jibbering at me in spanish while the other continued to try an jimmy the lock. They both pissed themselves when I responded by clearing the holster and sighting down on them with a 1911 frame auto in .45ACP. Something about a bore big enough to stick your pinky into and have room to wiggle it frightens some people. Knife boy dropped his blade and his buddy forgot about his slimjim as they both dropped to their knees with their hands in plain sight.
Talked to the police after they arrived to cart the two off to jail and he informed me that I'd have been within my rights to just shoot them without warning. Kinda glad I didn't, as cleaning blood off of auto paint is a bitch and a half.

What they need in the towers:
MK19 Full Auto Grenade Launcher capable of firing over 350 grenades per minute at an effective range of 2200 meters?
Also:
The M107 Long Range Sniper Rifle (LRSR) is a .50 caliber rifle with attached optics/electro-optics that supports all weather, day/night tactical dominance via rapid-fire direct fire engagements with armor penetrating, incendiary, dual-purpose ammunition. The M107 is based on the Marine Corps M82A3 Special Application Scoped Rifle.
That should keep them on their side.
