I really can't take you seriously. "Let you know"? How, by banging you over the head with a hammer? If you can't see the HATE here you wouldn't know the difference between a happy meal in Los Angeles and hot curry in a Bombay restaurant.

Yes, you have "Peterson" and Juliann all worked out. Just like the amateur psychobabblers and mind-readers on this board, starting with "Mister Scratch", whom we still know nothing about. For all I know "Mister Scratch" could be Bugs Bunny on steroids. You seem to like the semblance of playing fair, and being balanced in judgement. Well, I have news for you. You're just as bigoted as those you attack for bigotry.

Let you know? This is like someone in the middle of a California earthquake saying: "Let me know if the earth is shaking." This is like someone looking at an approaching tsunami and asking, "tell me when to run".

Ray,

Are the statements you've made on this thread hate-filled as well? Will you bear some responsibility for future violence enacted on the pathetic, feeble minded exmormons here?

What I find so odd about this, my dear Ray, is that you claim this "hate speech" is as obvious as "an approaching tsunami," and yet you've still not posted a single citation. I will continue to wait patiently for you to enlighten me, so that I, too, can "speak out against hate filled statements that could result in violence."

Come on, beastie. I post on one thread in retribution for the sick-minded, constant attacks on Mormons, in the same tone that this hate-filled, anti-Mormon board does all the time, and you blame me?

I am sick to death of the attacks, overt, covert, subtle, not so subtle. Do you GET IT!!?? And I will use the "freedom" of this board to fight it tooth and nail from now on. And I don't give a rat's ass who I offend.

If I recall correctly, on another thread Ray mentioned Kimberly Anne's reference to the leaders of the church as misogynists. I'm not sure this, in and of itself, can be called "hate speech", otherwise one could be automatically accused of hate speech by calling someone a bigot.

Even if this qualifies as hate speech, and I suppose if one could categorically prove they are not misogynists and it was a knowing mis-characterization, it makes no sense to state that this type of statement could lead to actual violence against real life Mormons. For one thing, Sonja Johnson, in the late seventies, traveled around making speeches calling the brethren misogynists, and I don't recall that causing acts of violence against Mormons.

Of course one can always find examples of unstable people acting violently against a certain group - the question is whether or not sites like this one can be reasonably assigned blame for those actions. I haven't even seen evidence that, for example, the most likely group to engage in some acts of violence, angry temple protestors (maybe throwing rocks or something) visit sites like this in the first place, or would have any idea who DCP or Juliann is.

So can we predict future "hate speech" from you? You feel justified in that, right? It's some act of retribution, right?

And how are you different from those you criticize, exactly?

How can the chief instigator of verbal abuse "speak out"? You with your "revenge campaign" and your obsessive hatred of FAIR/MAD/DCP/Juliann/Mormons. Your hate list is so long Eichmann would use you as a texbook reference tool.

You must be kidding me.

I'm going to tell it to you flat-out, Ray, because I respect you enough to do so. To compare scratch's posts to a nazi criminal is simply irrational. Moreover, it is extremely disrespectful to the victims of the Nazis.

I also believe your dire predictions of violence against today's Mormons because of the "hate speech" critics engage in on the internet, disrespects the memory of the real LDS victims of actual real life violence in the early days of the church.

By aggrandizing the criticisms of a few LDS apologists who, by your own admission, sometimes invite that criticism due to their posting style more than their belief system, you minimize the violence and persecution human beings can actually suffer in this life.
