Oh no you don't. My parents have done several similar things over the years. I finally came to the conclusion that if I continue to go back for more punishment and guilt heaping that I was to blame.

They will not get another chance.

I have enough friends that take me as I am. They are my family.
Whining is only allowed if you can't afford to buy a lobbyist to do it for you.

Dysfunctional families are the norm these days it seems. Take your beautiful wife and enjoy each other to the fullest. Sometimes you just gotta separate yourselves from all that drama and be happy. That's the best revenge. I don't see much of my kin and that's the best thing for me. Why subject yourself to the pain? Just remember the beauty of that day, and don't let the ignorance of others sadden you.
