Although I think my previous posts have made it quite clear why I wanted Ray to respond to Orson, I will try to be even more explicit.
Orson understood that Mormon claims were so radical and urgent that if people discovered it were built upon a fraud, they would have the moral responsibility to expose it as such.
Man of today's apologists adamantly disagree, and want people who have discovered it to be built upon a fraud to go away and shut up, and often go to extraordinary lengths to try and bully them into doing so. Ray has provided a startling example of just that.
