I have not posted here for a while and just happen to see this thread so I thought I would respond.

Whenever Shades does Misery's profile I demand that she be listed as the winner of the mythical Scratch V. Peterson fight.

I see that Nisfor is missing from the MIA list.

squallan (yet another member of "Purgatory")

Was this name spelled right? Could it be Scot Gallan of Beliefnet fame, who made a short appearance at FAIR?

No, it's sgallan...Shades blog entry has been updated since this was posted by Scratch. It's very possible they're the same people.

Shade's missing Banite list

Yes, Moksha, you're correct. Do you have any insider's knowledge on this? What would merit placing this individual down in the stygian depths of Purgatory? (Beyond keeping me company, of course.)

Edited to add: I didn't know that they'd banned Declan McKenzie. Unless I'm mistaken, Kevin Graham is friendly with Declan.

Also: the Scott Cho banning---classic.

Scot was once LDS but is now an atheist. He has actually defended the LDS before from strident Bible beaters, by pointing out their beliefs would not hold up to the same analysis they were demanding of the LDS faith. He is a nice guy and probably was on the receiving end of a questionable decision.

Is he banned Dude (or was he once banned)?

Yeah that Scott Cho think was disturbing...what was just ignorant was the poster asking "why Scott Cho got banned?".

Are we to take this that they possibly typed from the same keyboard....possibly at the same time?

No, I am 99% positive that they are two separate people. If I recall correctly, Declan is a Catholic apologist.
