Hunger Strike (Day 2)

Post by _Runtu »

Yet another donut-free day passes with not even an acknowledgement from Daniel Peterson. What is it that prevents him from making even a gesture toward reconciliation with one he has libeled with a scurrilous charge of dishonesty? Pride? Spite? A secret desire that I not clog my arteries with cholesterol?

Once again I call on the good professor to do the right thing. Like the Madres de Plaza de Mayo, I will not be swayed from my righteous quest.

You know, now that I think about it, I've been on a no-donut hunger strike for at least five years...

Didn't Scratch mention that DCP was going to be on hiatus for a while?

Most college instructors/professors are dealing with finals. I'm teaching on a rolling 12 week system, so I'm just now completing midterm reviews with my folks.

Either way, most of us are up to our eyeballs in paperwork.

I'm sure it's just an excuse to avoid me.

Are you suggesting that I'm less important than finals?

Either way, most of us are up to our eyeballs in paperwork.

How long would it take him to type up a brief apology? 5 minutes?

Sorry, I'm not buying it.

I'm putting Dr. Peterson on notice: no peace until you do the right thing. :-)

Yeah, I know this is kind of silly, but I'm halfway serious. I really don't appreciate being called a liar, even if he mistook me for Scratch, who is of course a confirmed liar of the worst sort. ;-)

So maybe I'm becoming a stalker, but not a malevolent one.

Ever suck the filling out of a jelly doughnut and fill it with chocolate swirl ice cream?

You don't know what your missing.

I wonder if that would work with cupcakes?
