I am light in the darkness. You are wrong that my name is intended to communicate that Mormonism equals light and everyone else here equals darkness.

Honey, if your behavior here is any indication of how bright your spirit is, I shudder. If you have mis-represented yourself (and stop insisting we just don't speak your language), then start a new thread, introduce yourself, and move on. Your intellect is being clouded by this rediculous crying wolf (y'all are persecuting me!), and the assumptions you keep making about people you've posted with for about two hours.

Come again?

Atheists make up roughly 3% of the population. 97% disagree with them. I think that would qualify as "abnormal." I guess it's Ok to point out and mock how not normal Mormons are compared to the normal world, but when it is simply pointed out that grayskull isn't really normal either when it comes to religion, that's just wrong, wrong, wrong!

It's not wrong wrong wrong. In fact, I'm having trouble figuring out the relevance of the normalcy of his beliefs about god, when it comes to him pointing out how abnormal it is for 2 salesmen to act like such asses (and that this probably extends to the LDS church).

Maybe if he himself engaged in abnormal door to door sales practices - that might be relevant.

Or maybe it's enough for you if he says he believes in the FSM? Would he be 'normal' in regards to religion then?

You keep on attacking me, calling me an arrogrant prick, a fundie, suggesting I'm a black and white thinker who can't see reality, etc., then when I reply by noting you are attacking me, attack me again by claiming I have a persecution complex. I have to admit, it is a pretty creative way to attack somebody relentlessly. Did you have a little brother? Did you hit him with his own fists and continually ask him why he was hitting himself?

He was talking about the "normalcy" of not being LDS. Of not being "cult-indoctrinated." If he was honest, he would simply own up to the fact that he was taking shots at Mormons. It's funny to me, given that his views on religion are not normal either.

Again, wtf?

His views regarding Mormonsim are probably quite normal. Not sure what his views on religion have to do with it. What about his views on American Idol? Is that relevant as well?

His views regarding Mormonsim are probably quite normal.

His views on the existence of God, however, are not. I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but whether God exists is a religious subject.

Not sure what his views on religion have to do with it.

- Mormonism isn't normal!

Well, neither is atheism.

- What's religion got to do with it?

Gosh, there's some real brilliant thinkers over here.

What do his religious views have to do with it? Again, his views regarding Mormonism are quite normal. Does it really matter what his views regarding other religions are?

And you didn't answer my other question. Would he be normal if he believed in the FSM?

Gosh, there's some real brilliant thinkers over here.

You're only making yourself look worse, when you say crap like that.

Yes, it does. If you can insult someone for having abnormal religious views, and you have abnormal religious views, that leaves a comparable insult open to you. This, as it happens, is funny.

Would he be normal if he believed in the FSM?

No.

You're only making yourself look worse, when you say crap like that.

Ok, you win. No religious beliefs are normal, so no one can insult anyone else for having abnormal beliefs regarding religion.

Although I'm not sure that's what's been done.
