Oh my dear, eat, drink, and be merry. I've been called far worse! Please do not stop your donuty enjoyment over me. :P
Drat! Now I'm craving Krispy Kreme!
;)
Have just one. I read somewhere that six of those is considered a binge.
I've come down 15 pounds in the last six weeks. I'm going to try to keep it that way...I miss ballet. My pointe shoes look so lonely without my feet in them.

The term "secularist" to refer to the nonreligious or nominally so is common parlance. Google it.
You came back to us, Juliann! We'd thought you'd run away for a moment.
I am sorry, but am not one of those students of the university behind McDonalds who believes in posing as intelligent simply because they have access to google.
Sooner or later your insistence on attacking then crying wolf, your twisting of definitions to meet your needs, and your sniping meanness will show you for who you are, Juliann. When that happens, I'll be waiting. We have so much catching up to do.

You are, apparently, one of those students who think the dictionary determines proper use of words. That's far worse.

Wait! It's DCP! He's told me before that his definition of words Trump's what's in the dictionary!
Hey Dan. What's shakin'? Saw ya on TV the other night. Not your best side, man... I guess it's really true that the camera adds 15 pounds... and that was just a head shot.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

If it is Daniel, I'm still waiting for that apology. The clock is ticking, my friend ...

No. This isn't my "personal definition." It's just common parlance. The reason I asked her to google it is for her to get a taste of its common usage. The notion that the dictionary determines proper use of words is called "prescriptivism." It is near universally thought of as wrong-headed in academia. For very good reasons. It's funny that DCP gets mocked for merely defending that notion.

In any case, it sounds like you may have a skewed perception of the make-up of MDB posters. The thread I mentioned in my earlier post really is a nice way to acquaint yourself with the dichotomy of some of the folks here.
