This is simlar to when the liberals trotted up a bunch of kids and had them speak against war on Iraq as if their saying were profound. I believe children can be profound but not in an environment where they are told what to say.

I agree with you....kids shouldn't be on the stand in Testimony Meeting unless they want to and actually believe. They did finally make it policy that you should not take your kid up to the stand and coach them through it which always annoyed me. Some women think it's cute.

I can remember one cute and honest child's testimony though. In a ward I attended a certain sister used F&T meeting as a pulpit to give us a daily update of her life. She led a very, very dull life. This woman would talk about the sales she found that week etc. One week while she was walking up a little child stood up on the bench and pointed both thumbs down dramatically and said in a loud voice: "BOOOOOOOORRRRRRING." I almost applauded.

I mean slow slow modem, I guess dial-up is Idaho slang, it also messes with the phone. We've been promised DSL or that kind of service for years but I live in mountain canyon can't get the fast services yet. So thus videos are a slow pain.

That's the first I've ever heard of this either. My wife's ward has a woman who brings her kids (ages 2 and 4) to the podium every Testimony Meeting. The kids apparently like being in the spotlight because they just talk into the microphone, saying things no one can understand for a good long time. I don't understand why people do this.
