I agree with Morningstar that every voice here contributes an ingredient to the MAD stew. From the sweet like Garden Girl and Rhinomelon, the tenderizers like Koakaipo and Katherine-the Great, to the picante like Pahoran and Juliann. The stew is lessened when ingredients are left out, but it is still edible.

Still, there are those who do deserve a special shout out. So many of these cross categories. Those who can always make for a good thread elsewhere, as well as here, Dr. Daniel Peterson, Juliann and Pahoran.

Those who can always be (or used to be) counted on for a thoughtful response, The Dude, David Bokovoy, Tarski, Asbestosman, the Nehor, Alter Idem, Beastie, Kevin Graham, Jersey Girl, Bond - James Bond, Runtu, Selek, Abulafia, Rollo Tomasi, Scratch, CK Salmon, Uncle Dale, Mike Reed, Dr. Shades, Don Bradley, Sethbag, BCSpace and GIMR.

Also, an extra special shout out to one who has achieved a great deal of personal growth through these forums, and that is Wade Englund.

A lot of questions I see about Maggie I see. She has a Blog on Mormon Discussions now under the name of Selah, and she has said some fairly nice things about the LDS people

Thanks Severian!

Thanks Severian! Although I see that he (or she?) got in trouble:

Get over yourself Moksha. Stop showing off for your kiddie board friends. You were not very cute the last time we banned you. Next time you try to pull publicity stunts on our board it will be your last.

Why did they delete the part about me? And why did Severian get in trouble?

I'm sure they deleted the part about you because it's their MO when people ask about the Banites....they have a "don't ask, [we] don't tell" policy when it comes to questioning of the MAD moderating practices. Once you're gone, you should never be mentioned as having existed (not unlike Joseph Smith's character flaws--i.o.w [he's dead---so it doesn't matter he was polygamist/liar/charlatan/etc]).

Here's the thread on MDB discussing Juliann's accusation that Severian is Moksha.

Wow, they obviously read this post over here as well as there. I think Severian was very discreet in his use of the term picante. Knowing that Severian likes Hunan cooking, I bet he originally used the word sour but realized that would be loaded with offense and chose a very flattering Spanish word instead. I suppose mentioning some of those people who have been banned rankled them a bit. Having Severian praise some former FAIR/MAD posters who now post solely on this kiddie board, caused Momus and perhaps a few of the others who share in their moderator forum to see red.

Alas, the sins of the Moksha weigh heavily on the head of Severian. Are his days numbered? He yearns for the freedom to express himself but runs afoul of others wishes to express their dominion in the domain they have created.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that Momus is possibly Juliann.

This is the kiddie board? Well, I've been told I act like a little kid so I guess it makes sense. I guess they forget that those who never grow up have all the fun.

Either way I think its a terrible offense to Momus to use his name in vain.

Next time I see him or any of his ex-wives, I intend to point out this gross intransigence.

Agreed. That's why I incorporated PP's words of wisdom in my signature.

I prefer the kiddie table, myself. Maybe that's why playing the piano for Primary is my favorite calling. LOL

Yep, haven't grown up yet.

If MAD's the adult table (which I don't concede by any stretch of the imagination), I know where I don't want to eat when I grow up. They put catsup on everything!
