Hypocrite.
When did I say stuff like that to you?
Have you ever considered that you do not respect my opinion? That alone is insensitive. I can see your opinions as incorrect because I used to hold to the same standard. But now that i have grown out of magical thinking and the Mormonism inspired worldview I have alot more cred in defending my position. All in all what im saying is that I stand on solid ground while you and others have a smaller worldview.
I strive to bring you up to speed. The hypocrite comment should have been a little bit more tongue in cheek.

I don't see how you have a lot of respect for mine either and I don't remember ever resorting to juvenile name-calling. I'm sorry but I won't give you more credibility simply because you have been both in and outside of the Church. I left myself. By that standard only apostates and converts can have any credibility. I did apostasize for a time so I have been in and out. By your definition I stand on solid ground (perhaps solider since I have flip-flopped twice as opposed to once).
A hint about me. Any time you throw in the term asshat, douchebag, idiot, moron, or anything of the like you're shooting yourself in the foot if you're attempting to get through to me. In all disagreements I've been involved in the person who is losing or not in the right tends to resort to insults first.

I confess a fondness for the term "asshat." It so very often is le mot juste.
Not that I'd refer to anybody here as one, of course...
Nehor, if its not prying, and you may want to start another thread for this, why did you breifly "apostacize" or go inactive? I'm interested in hearing people's personal stories of belief/disbelief and in between. And in your case its interesting given your supernatural experiences/verifications.
If its too personal, never mind, no biggie.
From the Ernest L. Wilkinson Diaries: "ELW dreams he's spattered w/ grease. Hundreds steal his greasy pants."

My philosophy is that there is nothing I can say to sway your opinion. Not because I don't have the right information, but because there is just no way to get it through all the mental pickets you have set up in your mind.
Its the same with a north korean. You tell them they live in squalor, ruled by a dictatorial regime but they tell you that its all lies and that they are in paradise. Theres no getting through to them. Tehy are literal robots programmed at birth to believe EVERYTHING their govt tells them.
So this is more for me than you. Do not arrogantly believe that I am here to save you. You have to want to save yourself first, then I can strengthen a more rational opinion you hold. Since your pretty ingrained, this is hopeless.

That only means that your indecisive. I believe that when most Mormons apostacise for a season they believe that my situation was comparable to their own when in reality you just took a break with no mental convictions to why you apostacised. You still believed, you still thought you were obligated but there was aways that need in your mind to return.
You didn't apostacise otherwise you'd be agreeing with me right now helping crack-pipe-coggy feel dumber than he already is.

I'd like to think I wouldn't bother. Would that make me indecisive or you more dogmatic? Mentally I'll put us both in a neutral category.

To each his own i guess.
But do you get what i was saying about those who leave for a season? They haven't left, they just want to take a break but still have the umbillical cord attached.

I do get what you're saying and it does happen quite a bit.
