The only reason I got on it was because everyone I knew was married and they kinda coerced me into it. So I decided to try it out, but under one condition. I would only talk to women who lived in other countries because I was NOT going to get married!

Glad that worked out for you. LOL

My wife gets mad at me when I tell people how I met her. Not too many people meet their spouses by handing them a stool sample at a Bolivian bus stop.

Moksha, I think it is pretty much settled that David is not joining the Church. Unless of course something miraculous happens. So unless God decides to send an angel to his bedside with a flaming sword, I doubt he will be changing his mind anytime soon.

I thought God sent angels with flaming swords only to force prophets to have sex with women without telling their wives. ;)

As a Missionary I saw the same thing happen when people would try to convert their spouse. They'd downplay and try to water down anything we taught that they thought would get in the person's way. It's annoying because we have to re-teach and then the spouse is usually there trying to soften everything.

The worst experience was with a returned-missionary sister who married an active Jehovah's Witness and begged us to convert him. The first time we tried to teach him she broke down crying when he respectfully disagreed with something we said and then started screaming at him that he was trying to deny her her exaltation. When she tried to blame us the next Sunday I reminded her that she was the one who married him. To be honest I felt worse for him than her.

I don't understand why anyone would lie to someone they supposedly trust and care about. I judge who my friends truly are by who can tell things I don't want to hear and I'll still listen because I trust them enough to know they would never try to hurt me.

Yes, regularly and often.

Had one girl who wanted me badly and also loved Jeff Daniels. Didn't make the connection till later. I felt so used.....no wait, I enjoyed it :)

I don't understand any woman who would willingly enter into a polygamous relationship. Then again, if you think your exaltation depends on it then you might be willing to do just about anything.
