Nah, I'll play Dooku then, I thought he was an interesting Sith Lord. But Palpatine knew how to let his hair down: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzWSLcFBI8Y

I completely forgot about Dooku....who's going to be Grievious?

FYI: I call Obi-Wan in 1-3, and Han Solo in 4-6. Everyone else can pick up the scraps :)

I didn't say the church leaders are interested in just living lavish lifestyles. Though, since you brought it up, think of the super-success oriented people you know inside or outside the church. Why is it that most of them are workaholics despite the fact they were set for life a long time ago? Because it's playing the game that matters, and the money is secondary.

At any rate, yes, it all comes down to money for the church's survival and growth just like any other institution on this planet.

Because they want to make a difference? That's what I've found when walking through the halls of power.

Coggins talking about Harmony's fanny. Coggins, do you happen to know what "fanny" means in Britain or Ireland?
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

Not any more they don't. Try getting close enough to the prophet to even shake hands, and see what happens when his security force moves in. The Twelve and the FP don't travel like they once did. They're all getting too old, so stake conferences like for my stake are conducted via satellite now.

I know what Fanny meant to Joseph Smith. After that, things started going downhill.

No, I don't. I just know what it meant to people in my parents generation, from whence I got it, and it means her ass.

Hence, the play on words she set herself up for.

It's changed to a degree, most of my experiences were with Seventies. I think the broadcast Stake Conferences is an improvement, used to be you were lucky to have a GA there at all. Now every other Stake Conference you get a broadcast.
