I'm not telling any of my stories of overindulgence. Though my husband would if you asked him..

Well, it was just a few months ago with an exmo friend. I overdid things a bit.

I got drunk once too. That was quite the couple years.

I'm shocked, hurt, and dismayed that you left me off. So here goes,

Guy was a professor
Taught at BYU
Can't believe in fairy tales
So now he's ex-Mo too
God . . . "who mouths morals to other people and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes, yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, . . . and finally, with altogether divine obtuseness, invites this poor, abused slave to worship him ..."

I hope there was a naked conga line...:-)

Oh yeah...

What about California Kid
Where is his verse
Wasn't born in the church
That's his only curse

Where is ole Fortigurn
Where o'where is he
Couldn't cough up 10%
Wouldn't pay the fee

What about CKSalmon
From the Bluegrass state
Bound to rot in Outer Darkness
He's resigned to his fate

We're writing our own now? Let me try.

harmony walks on water
some people do proclaim
all suspicions notwithstanding
there's rocks beneath the waves.

Jersey's a pint-sized female
who loves her overalls
don't take her arguments lightly
she'll make mincemeat of you all.

Liz is welcome among us
Apostates though we be.
She brings us intellect and virtue
And a velvet whip to keep the peace.

Moksha is a penquin
with a modest little leaf.
Some days he's pretty serious
And others he's comic relief.

Guy is smart and pithy
it helps that he's gorgeous too
His only problem
is he taught at BYU.

Jason is a mystery
although his angst is plain
walking the tightrope
will drive a man insane.

Loran's lived in all four corners
and sampled local flavor
Too bad his view is so narrow
There's not much there to savor.

You do walk on water --- and you're a poetic genius too in company with Runtu & Bond!

I'm not just sucking up so someone will do me. After all, Coggins has been very, very mean to me and I deserve some vengeance :) and I don't have the gift for poetry.

Lucretia's too bad to be mentioned
Used to be known as Cowpie
Everyone knows she going to hell
Story even makes Juliann cry

Edit:

Dare I mention Dr. Stuess
He's funnier than Lenny Bruce
I'll slip him something in his juice
From the church we'll cut him loose

And what happened to ole consiglieri
To where has he disappeared
While he was here he was quite merry
Is he growing an apostate beard

Guess I gotta do my own. Keep in mind I've never heard "Follow the Prophet" (it was "Give Said the Little Stream" back in my day), so I'm winging it metrically:

Blixa's omni-sexual
Told Gaz she was a pervert.
He told her to stop it,
She said she prefers it.
From the Ernest L. Wilkinson Diaries: "ELW dreams he's spattered w/ grease. Hundreds steal his greasy pants."

Oh how could we forget Blixa?

Blixa's a professor
Right now she doesn't teach
She's an apostate
Not that they let women preach
