Recently a poster who goes by Daniel C. Peterson dropped by on The Foyer (link above) and had this to say:

I think that so-called TBMs, as you put it, know exaclty who I am. I am known from the rivers to the ends of the earth. We faithful members are not so easily fooled by folks like you who lie in wait to deceive. Yes, there were some letters to the Deseret News and other sites that purported to be from faithful members of the church appearing to question my bona fides as a defender of the one true church. But I have it on good authority and can assure you that those letters were actually part of an orchestrated campaign by anti-Mormons to make devout Latter-day Saints look bad and embarrass me in the process. I have the evidence in my files but will not cast my pearls before swine.
I have no doubt that the barking dogs who occupy these environs will have no deleterious impact on the onward movement of the great church caravan that will continue to carry the restored gospel to every clime until the Great Jehovah shall say "the work is done." The jig may indeed be up, but it's the jig you are dancing, sweetie pie. Now, take your shoes off, get back in the kitchen where you belong, and make me some donuts!
So what do you DCP fanatics think? Is this DCP or someone playing at being DCP?

I would only be convinced it were really him if the ever-sycophantic cheerleader Kerry Shirts showed up fawning over him. Of course, then I'd have to know it was the real Kerry Shirts. But I doubt that would be very hard - his style is inimitable.

I imagine most of the folks in the lobby saw through it, although some may have suspected an impostor was channeling the real DCP. Dr. Peterson said that he was going to Spain for a conference with the multinational Malta Group. From there, he may be off to a meeting with the Trilateral Commission.
No, too much Temple stuff. I suspect someone trying to discredit him in a shallow and ineffective fashion.
