Hi CK...

I'm thinking that if we keep this particular forum from the attacks and nastiness, this could be a good place for discussion.

For those who want strickly LDS apologetics and LDS support they can go to MAD, for those who want strickly support for disbelief they can go to RfM, and for those who want some good and healthy discussion they can come here.

Something for everyone!

I'm seriously hoping for this... :-)

I hope for this as well. It's very difficult to keep a forum free from attacks and nastiness, though, particularly when moderation is limited. Perhaps it would be good to make greater use of the celestial forum. I think the Vogel/Spalding thread there has been a good example of the kind of dialogue that can take place here.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest. I am guilty in that I never, or rarely, check the CK (with the exception of the vogel thread) and never go to the "lower kingdom" at all. It just seems all the action happens here, in the middle. If some of us deliberately take our "action" to the CK, perhaps more believers will feel comfortable posting.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

beastie,

In my observation it's that way on all boards that have multiple forums, posters naturally gravitate to a middle forum such as this which is comparable to Roundtable on Z.

Just in browsing through MA&D I've come to the conclusion that the place is full of weapons grade stupidity. I haven't seen Dumbassery of that magnitude since the last time I scanned through Rapture Ready's forum.

Runtu, I realize that much like Rapture Ready, there's a handful of posters on MA&D who aren't living examples of why stupid should carry a death sentance. But on either site I could count them on one hand and have a finger or so left to scracth my ass with.

Well, I appreciate the vote of confidence. I really had hoped to mend some fences over there. It's not going so well so far.

Okay I just got done reading that thread over there....is it just me or are Juliann/Sput/whoever and the gang a huge group of pussies for not just signing up here and posting? It's obvious they read this board obsessively. Why not just respond here and stop being such wimps.

Screw that....if I took as much crap as you Runtu my next post over there would include the words "me" and "blow" and not many more.
