"It is reliably estimated that a million missionaries have served since the organization of the Church.”

So do stake/ward missionaries count?
Kids that come home early? How early? Out only for a day? An hour?
Couple missionaries counted as one or two? What if either one served when they were younger, do they get counted twice as a missionary?
Non proselyting missions?
Elders quorum members going on splits with the mishies?
Hinckley the original spin doc for LDS Inc, has no shame.
Little known fact about this supposed first missionary, Samuel Smith, Joe's younger brother. Something to spring upon the unwitting 19 year old fools walking past the new erected statue of him at the Provo MTC..
He was vehemently opposed to Joe's polyg, which put him at odds with Brigham and his supporters of polygamy. Emma and the other opposition to polygamy wanted Samuel to take the reins of the church after Joe was killed.
This did not happen, because Samuel was POISONED before he could stand toe to toe with Briggie. Much speculation has been made that Young ordered the poisoning to keep as many of the members with him.
