"Me." "What I needed." It's all about "me, me, me, me" what "I need".

And what, may I ask, is wrong with that?

Well, Jersey Girl, if she's so content with herself and her life, why the hell does she have to keep coming here to throw barbs at the Church? What would you call that? If an ex-spouse found another partner, and was happy with them, why would they still be so bitter to the former partner?

And it's clear to me that you are not interested in looking at Mormonism objectively. And your weak attempts to do so are unimpressive. You are like the Tanners - build 'em up, then shoot 'em down. Makes you look objective!!!!!!!!

I'm quite aware of what the Bible says, having first read it when I was ten years old. You are a Christian? You believe in God? I salute you. Now cease attacking Mormons!!
Yes, it's too bad that critics wrote the First Vision.

You have yet to show exactly where I've thrown barbs at the church. I laugh heartily at you, but I haven't thrown barbs at the church.

Are you the re-incarnated Christ?

Branch Davidianism, anyone?

White and Nerdy? I have a fetish for nerds, so don't feel bad...though I did find that video funny. I like Dee dee dee by Carlos Mencia as well, reminds me of a couple of our board residents. Have you seen any of the skits by Will Ferrell and Pearl?

I'm not a nerd, I'm a geek :)

Geeks are the non-socially awkward loud guys who are just kinda off. I didn't know there was more than one Pearl video. Just enjoyed watching her force a confession. Brilliant.

Pearl is my new mentor. She rocks.

About Ray... I wouldn't bother (unless you've just having fun, in which case I totally understand). Until today, I always just thought he was a sort of hateful anti-exmormon who had trouble communicationing well. After reading this thread, I really think you're right; the guy sounds (especially in this thread) like he's ready for the laughing acadamy.

Ray, dude... seriously, if you are really anything like the persona you've painted on these boards, get professional help... for the sake of everyone unfortunate enough to be around you.

Wow... just, wow.

:-) Schmo, I prefer to be "spiritual, not religious". But I tend to group with the religious folk for the sake of just trying to build bridges. There are a lot of good religious folk out there, we're just scared human beings like the rest of mankind.

Ray's just projecting his personal issues onto everyone else here. Kind of like Wade did for so long. And you know what's so ironic? Where the hell is Wade now? We have two completely insane TBMs on here in the form of Ray (well, we're not quite sure what he is, he changes religon like days of the week underwear) and Cog, and Wade is nowhere to be found with his "workable solutions". Effing hypocritical. All Wade wanted to do was use his McTherapy to re-convert people, he never gave a care about the true pain of those individuals. Here are two people of his own faith (or one and a half to be more precise, Ray is still in the running, let an exmo email him privately and tell him something nice we might see a different person tomorrow), and all Wade's "skillz" are not available right now.

I just laugh at Ray and really feel sorry for Cog. Neither of them bring anything of substance to this board other than macabre entertainment...

I disagree. I think Coggins brings some important balance to the board.

Well if several people have said it, maybe you should consider it. I'm sure those close to you (a.k.a. within earshot) would really appreciate it.

Ray A wrote:I will tell you who is really in need of professional help - the sick, twisted, bitter anti-Mormon "Internet exmos". The blood sucking leeches who are not content to leave the Church but must try, constantly, to bring it down to their sordid level of Nihilism.

Yes they do. Don't know any personally, but the type of person you're describing likely would benefit from therapy almost as much as you would.

Sorry, I should have said "spiritual." It's a much more pleasing sounding word to me too.

Wade's a real therapist? Or does he just pretend to be?

Like CaliforniaKid, I actually like having Cog and Ray around too. These guys are hilarious to me. It seems implausible that they're serious about what they say, but thinking they are makes them that much more entertaining to me. It's especially rich when they go off on exmos being bitter and angry, when they post the most bitter and angry posts imaginable. Great stuff! You can't make up comedy like that.

If I said many exmos are angry and bitter would it be less rich? Darn.
