I respectfully submit that you're selling yourself very, very short.
Don't worry I haven't given up on it. I usually read all the books I have, even if it takes some time. I have bought books and eventually read them as much as ten years later. Of course you'd be disappointed if I didn't get through it quicker, but I spend too much time on.....guess what? I live life full speed ahead, and once again preparing for my sixth move in six years. The landlord decided he wants this house back in six weeks when the lease is up. That with working 12-14 hour nights, play time here is important. All work and no play......

For what its worth, you have my sympathy, Ray A. I hate moving. I don't have much, but most of its books---heavy and awkward to box and carry.
I have two "children" to "carry" too (one 18 the other 22) and the move is not easy with all the stuff we have, not to mention expensive. I had seven bookshelves, with books mostly on Mormonism, and because of so many moves I've whittled it down to one. I got tired of the heavy boxes with books, so had to part with them. This isn't my last move either, as I have one more after this - when I'll finally be on my own after 28 years of caring for and supporting children. The last little birdie of the nest is now 18, and now that she knows she will be paying the lease money and rent, guess what? The price of rent comes seriously into the equation. When dad was paying, the sky was the limit!
