Please tell me you do not get your understanding of the Church by DVD. That's like learning World History by watching "History of the World Part I" by Mel Brooks.

"I have brought you 15 commandments"
(Moses falls, breaking off part of the tablets and looking at them)
"I have brought you 10 commandments"

I think angels get superstrength so he could haul off the box. I certainly intend to give myself superstrength when I'm resurrected. Heck if you can fly modding the body to lift a ton shouldn't be that hard.

I guess we can then start accepting other plausibles...like if the box ever existed in the first place.

If it were not for the media productions almost all of the seminary attending twentysomethings would not know what a urim and thumim were.
And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race
Lost in time
And lost in space...and meaning

Nehor, the buck stops at the top of the COB. They're the ones who okay everything that is presented to the public about the church. So, yes, they know what happened to the sword of Laban. They know what happened to all of it.

Okay, how do the COB know? And who are the COB? I'm thinking Cockatoos On Bilgebottom (a planet of a lesser order than Kolob but higher order than Earth).

Instead of discussing the stone box or the fallacious facade DVD featured box set, you attempt to derail because you know I am right.

Do you not agree that if the events in "The Restoration" DVD actually happened, then by god they had better be factually depicted?

Or is it ok to soften them up and make them more than they really were?

Would you object if the movie "Shindler's List" depicted the killing of Jews like an old John Wayne movie where one bloodless shot in the belly killed the innocent Jew instantly and painlessly?

by the way(By The Way) C.O.B. stands for Church Office Building, located just east of temple square. the COB is ground zero for the LDS media spin doctors.

The offices of the First Presidency are at the top of the Church Office Building. Are you saying they don't know what the church is producing on their watch?

He knows as much about what we are discussing as he knows about women, and it shows.

Hey Porter:

I thought every Mormon knew that David Whitmer saw the stone box three times, the last when it had fallen apart after being washed to the bottom of the hill. The Chicago Times Interviews David Whitmer: August 1875 S.L. Herald, 12 Aug 1875 in Ebbie Richardson, "David Whitmer," pp.158. What kind of Mor[m]on are you to ask this question?

So why were there no accounts of it BEFORE then?

Why did Smith not show it to anyone not associated to his scam?

Lastly, how did such an engineering marvel merely fall apart and wash down to the bottom of the hill? Was it in a small creek bed? This thing lasted over 1400 years and you swallow this account by David Whitmer that it fell apart?

Where are the pieces? Let me know when you will pull the WGNII(with god nothing is impossible) clause or the well worn Bible card to 'splain this away.

What do women have to do with this? I know what the Church is producing. I see a lot of it, probably more than you do. Do you honestly think putting the Sword of Laban in pristine condition in the video without an explanation is a deliberate, methodical attempt at deception?
