YES I DO. I also think it is very misleading for the teachers to show pictures of Joe using his index finger and eyes to translate especially after an apostle and the chief mo'pologist both went on record stating it was done with a magic rock in a hat.

Would you object if the movie "Shindler's List" depicted the killing of Jews like an old John Wayne movie where one bloodless shot in the belly killed the innocent Jew instantly and painlessly?

Actually, if you must know, I've been out to dinner with the Iraqi ambassador to the United Nations.

A couple of clues: I came on this board to address some specific issues with some specific people. This isn't one of them, and you're not one of them.

You know what I lke about this board? No one makes the rules. Your rule that you wrote down in crayon with this post demonstrates your lack of understanding on what participation on this board means.

Put up or shut up dannyboy. You look like an even bigger braying jackass (or is that tapir?) when you write who you will confront and who you will ignore.

If porters question is so difficult possibly you could point us at some scholarly research as to similar sites and stone boxes that meet the same criteria laid forth by Joseph Smith. One must be able to reproduce the same scenario described in the official Canon.

Since you can't do that wthout breaking the rule about scholarship only, I am going to do my "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta" victory dance around my house.

I would be surprised if DCP didn't know how to spell "kapish". "Capice" is a kind of shell, as far as I know. So, once again, I wonder if more than one person is posting as Daniel Peterson and if even one of them is actually him. Funny thing, I saw someone on one of the other boards misspell kapish the other day. I can't remember who it was or which board but I think it was MAD and it wasn't DCP.

I'm not usually too suspicious but along with my surprise that DCP would even deign to post here (in light of his many comments about it) is my surprise that he would, in fact, make a spelling error like that. (Unless it is an alternate spelling that I am completely unaware of, way up here in the Far North?)

And yes, I have absolutely nothing else going on right now. (Not being invited out for dinner tonight, never mind with anybody's ambassador).

PS:
OK, wait, if you can speak Italian, looks like this:

"In Italian, verb is “capire” – to understand, and in form of question becoming “lei capisce”... (from Wiki, the ultimate authority for everything!)

So, maybe capice is somewhat close although still not right on.

Oh well, it's a minor detail - jury's still out...
