Again Jersey Girl, I don't give a flying rats ass what you think. Post what ever you like.

I will run off at the keyboard again. Link all you like.

I haven't linked a single thing, Porter.

Yup, you're exactly right, Porter. I skipped right over it.

Bingo.

Most active Mormons do not remain members based on knowledge of Mormonism or Mormon History. That is where you fall short.

Your comment above, Porter, has nothing to do with what I stated regarding knowledge of Mormonism or Mormon History. That people leave Mormonism based on a knowledge of Mormonism/Mormon History has nothing to do with my knowledge of either one of those topics. It is irrelevant.

Let me give you a valuable insight, Porter.

Everyone on this board had a childhood.

Some positive, some negative.

Your childhood experiences are no better or worse than anyone else's here.

That your childhood experiences involved Mormonism, has little to do with the ability of another to make a connection to them.

Do you have intimate knowledge of porters childhood? If not then I would retract that.

I doubt you truly know what it is like to grow up Mormon.

I stand by what I stated, Mercury. Everyone here had a childhood. Some positive, some negative. His childhood experiences are no better or worse than anyone else's here. Childhood experiences are universal, Mercury. The abused child who was LDS has nothing on the abused child who wasn't.

Why do you ask and why do you continue to insert irrelevant questions into a discussion? Why do you need to know my age? Of what relevance is my age?

You seem old(er) and lonely... You have spent sooooo much time on these boards over the past eight years it just seems like this is your social interaction.

Don't get me wrong, if that's what you need then keep doing it..

Abuse has many justifications the abuser uses to break the child. Many use false symbols of authority and bulls*** systems of control that criple a childs defense mechanisms. I guess you don't know what its like knowing what suicidal thoughts feel like when you are 9.

As for your defense of Mormonism, don;t you think its getting a little worn out? How long have you been at this?
