Fun topic. I love a wide variety of music and my collection is huge. For inspiration I play movie soundtracks which often have some very moving instrumentals on them. I also love Josh Groban.
Here are some soundtracks I love: on most movie soundtracks, there is usually only a few songs that I really care for and they usually are the love themes.
Good music for a Sunday afternoon drive:
"Braveheart"
"Legends of the Fall"
"Steel Magnolias"
"Charley"
"Terms of Endearment"
"Titanic" (if you are not too sick of that one yet!)
"Dances with Wolves"
love theme from "Jewel of the Nile"
"Cider House Rules"
"How to make an American Quilt"
instrumental from "My best friends wedding"
"Philadelphia" by Neil Young
"Phantom of the Opera" movie sdtk. with Emily Rossum
"Les Misrebles" London Cast
Narada collection
"Sense and Sensibility"
"Good Will Hunting"
"Garden State"
instrumental from "True Romance"
I also feel inspired by love songs and old songs that remind me of my childhood. It would take pages to list all my favorite ones.

Here's something I find near celestial: the aria from Verdi's opera, la Forza del Destino: "La Vergine Degli Angeli."
I remembered how much I liked it while recently watching the film, Aria, again. The director Charles Sturridge sets his vignette to it. Pity its such a short peice.

From the Ernest L. Wilkinson Diaries: "ELW dreams he's spattered w/ grease. Hundreds steal his greasy pants."
