Not that that is the goal or anything, so don't go snarkily implying that it is. Personally, I just like seeing the whole truth displayed. The Joseph Smith wives shout-out thread wasn't anything more or less than the unvarnished truth, and yet it was summarily executed. That says something, doesn't it?

Yes, they have been behaving in quite a slimy manner. But then, what were you expecting from Allen "The Practical Joker" Wyatt, cyber-squatter extraordinaire? These guys are not interested in discussion, debate, or fairmindedness. They are interested in totalitarianism, and information tyranny. (The More Good Foundation, let's not forget, was behind that seriously misguided "The Church monitors over 1,500 anti-Mormon website" posting on the BYU website, a posting which was swiftly yanked, probably wisely.)

I posted a rather innocuous reply to the Joseph Smith martyrdom thread that condemned his murder while contextualizing the immediate cause of his imprisonment.

Oh, and I also posted the names of a few of his wives in Bond's thread.

I certainly have no problem with the banning. Obviously, non-LDS are not welcome to post there. Which is fair enough.

But, goodness, the content of the threads in which I participated was absolutely innocuous (from a MADB-LDS perspective).

Hopefully, some of them will make their way to MADB. Those folks need apologetic armament to prepare them for some of the things they'll find on the Internet.

Heck, in the "Learning About Mormonism" folder I couldn't even find a link to the FAIR website. Nor to FARMS. Nor to Jeff Lindsay's site.

The only "anti" link I put foward was www.mormonapologetics.com. That post was deleted. Thankfully, MDB's own Ray A posted it again and it's still there at this time.

Sorry about that Scratch....it was a poster who called all of us "slimy" for going to that board yesterday and talking about Joseph's wives. Incidently I got "queued" over at ldstalk.com.
