I can vouch that genetics plays a major part in muscle development. My husband has huge arms, well, huge muscles in general. People come up to him, as I'm sure they do Steuss, and feel his "guns". And I have to say that he doesn't lift more than some of his buddies, but his muscles naturally get big for some reason. Perhaps it's the same genetics that allow him to eat two cheeseburgers, fries, a Coke and a chocolate malt for lunch and meatloaf for dinner and still never get fat. Makes me sick. And jealous. Well, mostly jealous of his food. He eats a cheeseburger dripping in grease and I eat salad and I'm the fat one. Sigh.

I can vouch for this....I remember growing up playing sports with guys who could eat like Kobayashi and never gain an ounce, and yet I would look at food and would gain a pound. Hey KA, I think we're a match made in "unlucky metabolism" heaven. :)
