What You Don't Understand

What I do not understand are the people who still support Bush. There are still some people out there who think he is a great leader.

It’s a result of faith-based-conclusion. Bush, himself, said early on that God wanted him to be President. Many believed that and as with other faith-based conclusions, evidence is irrelevant.

Well, I didn't vote for him but yeah, the Iraq stuff makes me queasy. WMD's that never existed turned into fighting off terrorist cells and really, are we any further along in that? Not so far as I can tell infact, it was not perhaps a month or so ago when a status report claimed that Al Quaida is building up and becoming stronger than ever.

I'm not so political minded and don't know all the ins and outs, but all of this makes me want to know...what are we there for?

Well, it’s simple. We have to fight them over there so we don’t have to fight them over here. See how simple that is?

And we all know that dropping bombs on a country, destroying its infrastructure, reducing its people from 24/7 electricity to (with luck) electricity a couple hours a day -- things like that -- we all know this will influence Iraqis to just love the USA and the Bush administration.

Don’t you see. If Canada could bomb the USA and try to change our religion and government, we would welcome them with open arms (Dick Cheney).

You just don’t understand, Jersey Girl. Everyone in the world wants to be Christian and have a democracy just like the USA -- with a Supreme Court to guarantee the outcome of a national election (2000).

If you don’t vote, you deserve Bush and the trillion dollar debt we now have. We owe most of that debt to China. At $10 billion a month on Iraq alone, we certainly can’t continue health care or social security or infrastructure repair in the USA.

Hi Jak, I read Blixa to mean that she may have voted for a 3rd party candidate.

Everytime I am forced to choose between english and spanish at an ATM it pisses me off that I voted for him.

Everytime the guy at the fast food place can't understand what I'm trying to say I get angry.

Everytime I have to wait in line because the person in front of me requires a guy to come up from the back to act as a translator I get pissed about Bush.

The sad part is, the next guy in office isn't going to do a damn thing about it.

So much for the american culture. Amexico anyone?

Why would they change anything when they get 30.000,000 employed illegal immigrants who don't file a tax return to get money back?

Had I voted for him either time, I would have felt regretful. As it is, I feel those who did vote for him were too easily duped.

I haven't voted on the Presidential Ticket since I could vote, never liked either of them and no write-in's here. One day I'll get you elected Captain Caveman.

I feel queasy every time I see him on TV, or any time he opens his mouth to speak. I admit - I voted for him in 2000, but not in 2004. I am embarrassed that I voted for him in 2000.

I voted Libertarian both times, so I never need to feel queasy.

Ain't Vegas grand? I went to K-Mart over the weekend (the one on Bonanza and Nellis) and needed some help. It took three employees before I found someone who spoke fluent English.

It’s so much easier when I’m out with my brother and he can act as my translator.

I think we should all learn French.
