Mormon on Mormon

I thought this was pretty funny. What was really funny was when the one companion said to the other that maybe getting a flat tire was the Lord telling him he shouldn't have bought such an ostentatious bike. The other guy says "it's red", and the first guy says "exactly." When I was in the MTC I had this one tie I wore sometimes that was a knit tie, that was red with some black threads mixed in. It had a flat bottom instead of a V shaped bottom, since it was knit. I actually had one of my MTC teachers pull me aside one day and tell me that someone in the district had complained that my tie wasn't conservative enough, and I was asked not to wear it anymore in the MTC. I thought it was the stupidest thing, but I didn't wear it in the MTC anymore. But that became my "mission tie", and I wore it probably 80% of the time during the whole rest of my mission.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

I had a white tie. Matched my shirt perfectly.

You people are disturbed.

"Big brawny Nephite with a sword! Oooh! Might give you some pause to think!!!"

“...conflicting messages I’d receive, on one hand they’d say don’t masturbate, but on the other they’d tell you to sing the song Hold to the Rod. It gets confusing!”
