I've criticized Merc and PP and a lot of others for saying mean-spirited things before. I kind of gave up on Merc, for obvious reasons. I could look it up if you would like.

I've said many times that I don't see the point in Merc's abrasive tone. Just out of curiosity, I checked, and I unloaded on him for attacking Maklelan. That said, I've seen Merc's good side, too. I don't bother trying to change his approach. It didn't work. That doesn't mean he's some irreparably evil person. I like him. For the record, I don't appreciate your approach either. But I like you too (usually). ;-)
