Lol, yeah, I know. We must have really given him the butt-kicking of the year for him to carry on like this. Hopefully he will swing on back some time for a re-match.
Hey, I just thought of something. If you two are really the same person (as DCP has suggested), that means you're referring to yourselves in an imaginary conversation. OK, I'm now officially weirded out. ;-)
Actually, that was MY misconception. I thought that DCP believed that Rollo and Scratch were one person because he always referred to them as "Scratch 1 and Scratch 2".
DCP actually later clarified that in another thread (can't remember which one).
He believes they are two separate people, just "one in purpose".

He sounds genuinely hurt.
Jeez......what a baby.
Although it should be noted that at least he's still got the spirits to talk about his every move.....he gave up the tidbit that he's going traveling for most of Sept and Oct.....doesn't he teach classes?
And does anyone take seriously his saying he's leaving message boards? (Answer: Nope)

Oh goody....another board for people here to obsess over and gossip about. I can hardly contain my joy. ;-)
Thanks, -Wade Englund-
I'm sure you'll contain it enough to not spill any seed.

More developments in the story....two of the folders at MAD (the teen forums and book club forums) are being transferred over to LDSforums.com....here's what Momus has to say.
Tonight we just closed down two sections of the board. We imported the topics of the teen forum over to ldsforums.com. We have also closed down the book club forum. We are leaving them up as an archive for now. LDS are more than welcome to start using ldsforums.com and starting book threads in the Share Folder. Comparative Religion folder has been merged with the Main LDS Dialogue & Discussion folder.
More closures and forum changes to come. The good news. We are not messing with the debate format of this board and will be adding a social forum for everyone, not just for the LDS. It will be a place for the community to put aside their differences and enjoy everyone's company.
Momus
So it appears they're taking the "more polite" forums completely off board......does this mean more colorful behavior will be allowed in the Main Discussion Forum? And why the spinoff?

It seems you are right about more being allowed in the discussion forum. There's currently a discussion about the claim (from "The Miracle of Forgiveness") that masturbation leads to homosexuality. Wade, care to comment? (I just want to see what Bond says back -- LOL).
(I hope the thread lasts long enough for Will Schryver to make a comment about group masturbation, since that appears to be key in Spencer Kimball's theory.)

You and others apparently find it of sufficient significance to weigh in on the matter--i.e. gossip and judgementalize about it.
Things here must be pretty boorish if Dr. Peterson's fall itinerary and his thoughts on leaving whatever board engender so much chatter. ;-)
Just saw this in the LDSforums "Introduction folder". Thread titled: This Is The Right Place?, A new begining for a MADBoard refugee

It is good to see many who have made the trek to this new message board...After 4 months journeying in "the wilderness" of contention, I am hopeful this will be the "promised land" of LDS message boards. I have had some lively discussions on the previous board and may return from time to time if I feel the need to bash with critics...but as Dr. Peterson has said maybe this board will offer more hope to do some good, rather than just waisting my time "contending with men of corrupt minds who do not desire to know the truth. <snip personal details>
Dang... is this what everybody thinks? Well I hope they have fun. I notice Charity is posting up a storm on the new LDS-only board.
