You were banned?? The thread regarding Elohim and Heavenly Mother was an outstanding discussion on the part of all those who contributed substantially. Were it not for your challenge I doubt that it would have been as fruitful as it was.
Yep. Those were excellent threads. Just ask the ones who were actually participating in the discussion. I never got the sense any of them wanted me ousted. In fact Kerry came around to his senses finally (grin) said thanked me for my comments.
I can't say I am surprised though. I was actually surprised that they decided to let me continue as long as I did. Sometimes they let me come back for a week or two, sometimes they let me stay for a day or two. But the thing that kicks me off every single time is Dan's participation.
I knew it, and Dan knew it. Dan decided to jump in after his protege, David Bokovoy, ended up with his foot in his mouth. He was pretending to "correct" me when in fact he didin't have the discipline to properly read what I wrote.
Ben sent me a very long PM, saying he didn't understand why everyone was arguing with me, because the more they do, they more they would be making my point. I was banned before I could respond. So Ben, if you're out there, I appreciated your PM and was planning to respond. As it is, I cannot access the PM messages anymore.
Kevin did. It's pure fiction. His claim that I got him booted is entirely false. It's been false on every previous occasion, too.
Dan, do you want me to write up a documented history on the various banishments that have ensued after your participation? It isn't just a coincidence that my banishment occurs immediately after you post. Now having said that, I don't believe for a second that you PM the mods and complain. I never said you did, so stop with the straw man.
But then, you don't have to do that either, and we all know it. So stop insulting everyone's intelligence by pretending you have no idea what will happen when you post your substance free nonsense. All you have to do is participate with some kind of snide comment, and the mods respond accordingly. Aren't you even willing to admit the simple fact that you effectively ruined a few excellent discussions? I know you didn't like how they were turning out, but they were excellent discussions.
You knew very well what happens once you start with me again. And it is hypocritical of you to do this since you refuse to discuss the issues with me in any other thread in any other forum, while using the invalid excuse that you want to avoid me like the plague. Well, obviously you only feel that way sometimes.
Not when I am at MAD - then you feel the need to come in and save the day, not with any refutation of what I say, but with a jerky comment which we all know will be taken as the go ahead nod for the MAD hatchet team.
And your comment on this forum is proof positive of what I say. You respond to others in this thread but you do not address me. Yet, just yesterday you responded to my post in detail, only because you knew I would not be able to respond. Having the last say is always an advantage.
Anyway, I was mainly frustrated because I enjoyed the discussion and I didn't want people thinking I had just bailed out. Each and every time I get banned it seems the people I am speaking with don't like it. It is always the silent minority sitting on the sidelines who don't like me.
And no, I don't think signing up there when you've been banned isn't a huge sin. You have done this in the past at RFM, and you know it. So it is hypocritical of you to pretend you can take the high horse on that one. At least when I go back to MAD, I provide a service, and engage the issues. I didn't pick a fight - you did. By contrast, you went to RFM to annoy the hell out of people just so you could use their reactions to write up another lame apologetic piece about ex-Mormon logic/attitudes.
The irony here is that during the recent discussions at MAD, I had actually complimented you as a fine scholar worthy of mimicking. I did so on at least three different occassions. But you seem hell bent on changing my mind.
