Kevin did. It's pure fiction. His claim that I got him booted is entirely false. It's been false on every previous occasion, too.
Okay, Daniel. What you probably didn't see on the David B. thread was a post I made that was directed to you, because it was deleted by the mods.
Daniel, I think you (and others) already know that I don't recognize whatever status you hold on these boards or in the LDS community. You're just a guy and in this case, a guy who screwed up. Let me tell you why.
You no doubt remember the lengthy threads on this board between yourself and Scratch. On those threads you seemed astonished that Scratch would harp at length about something that happened years ago regarding Quinn and also the situation on ZLMB involving yourself as Freethinker and company. I was astonished too. Not having a history with most of you or caring about what went on years ago on a board, I found it tedious and nearly nauseating. You as a topic, totally bores me to tears and you know that because I've told you so.
The Elohim and Heavenly Mother (Asherah) thread on MAD was an exceptional thread. I've never seen anything like it on MAD or FAIR, not ever. The entire debate was conducted without outside interference, Kerry identified Kevin early on, and both sides (which amounted mainly to Kerry and Kevin) were able to post stridently, adjust, revise, refine and in the process, so much information was unearthed that would be useful to anyone regardless of their religious affiliation. And in the end, the adversaries essentially shook hands and thanked each other for the battle.
DO YOU KNOW HOW OFTEN THAT HAPPENS ON THESE LDS BOARDS, DANIEL?
Try never.
Now, the entire debate (that was resurrected by David B.) has faded into the background and the topic has become ...did Kevin break a promise? How many sock puppets has Kevin used? Did Kevin lie? Does Kevin think Daniel got him banned?
Ringing any bells here, Daniel???
Believe it or not, in spite of the posts that you see me make on these boards, I LIVE FOR a lively debate like that even when my participation is minimal or when I take part as onlooker.
You all might think these long standing feuds are juicy little morsels that folks eat up, but the truth is Daniel it is as, if not more, boring and tiresome to most of us, as when the topic becomes YOU.
Most of us don't care who Kevin is. Don't care how many sock puppets he's used. Don't care if he broke some promise a year ago (a YEAR ago for pete sakes). Don't care where he lives, what his name is, whether or not he's still a believing LDS, who he emails or any of that.
What I care about, at least, is witnessing a lively debate where people learn, where people adjust their approach, refine their position, support it, defend it and I, at least, don't care who is behind the screen facilitating it so long as it holds my interest and I walk away from it with something new.
So my question to you, Daniel, is considering the tedious threads involving yourself and Scratch, why did you even feel the need to mention Kevin's reappearance on MAD?
There was an ongoing debate there, Daniel. And you all killed it in favor of trading the topic for personal discussion regarding Kevin.
I was totally robbed,
Jersey Girl
