You have me a bit worried now. I got the Moderna vaccine, not the Pfizer. The only one of us who got the Pfizer was my Down's syndrome daughter, and she is the most fragile of us health wise. I hope she tolerates the 2nd dose alright! Her second dose is scheduled for March 31.

I can figure it out. I'm not stupid you know. Okay now I'm just fantasizing because you know you're so special you never ever get headaches like a normal person. I suppose that means you've been somehow set apart.

All of the people I know that have had a reaction are 65 and older. I should be more careful about sharing anecdotal information. My best friend got her second dose of Pfizer yesterday. She's 71. She feels a little down on energy, but other than that she feels fine.

Oh don't worry about the mask burning thing it's just that I had a visceral reaction to the irresponsible way they brought their children into it and what they are modeling for their children. I find it truly appalling.

With regard to the second dose. Yes, we have one older friend (I'd say 70?) who said it "kicked his ass" and a younger relative back East--same thing. Put them in bed for at least 24 hours. I do expect that to happen to me so I will make sure I have everything in place that I need prior to the second injection and head straight for home when I get it. The place I got it at is a grocery store and only about a 15 minute drive.

I expect the second shot to absolutely floor me but really, I don't mind at all. It beats the hell out of a cytokine storm and a vent so I'll take it! I don't like the idea of suffering but this won't be my first rodeo either. A couple of days of flu like symptoms? Sleeping for long periods of time? Yeah, I'll make it through just fine and be happy for it!

Bring it Pfizer! Go right ahead and make me sick! Trigger my immune system like it's your job!
