Any other sabath cyclists, I think there could be one more! :)
. I don't cycle anymore. I hated it on my Mission and told my body that if it would endure these two years I would never make it do it again.
Your in luck! A senior type mission doesn't require bicycle riding. So you should be good to go for another two years! Things are lookin' up. :)
True, maybe one day then.

Crap. I'm in trouble. I went fishing and riding my motorcycle last Sunday. I thought that riding through the rain was the worse of my problems. Maybe I'll be lucky and turn into a Stephen Hawkings in the process over the next few years....
I cannot actually believe someone would think that the Lord would do that to someone for "breaking the sabbath". Personally, I found more of God out there on the water fishing on Sunday than I ever do in GD.

Uh, this was Hammer. Of course he was being serious. I used to think Hammer was an exmo sockpuppet designed to make believers look bad. I don't think so anymore.

Exactly. I think many here have been away from church for too long. Hammer's remark is very typical within the walls of the church. Don't any of you remember seminary, or testimony meetings, or gospel dotrine class? Sinners are cursed with diseases and death. This isn't just opinion either. It's in the Bible AND Book of Mormon, sheesh. You can't get much more doctrinally correct than that.

I think you've been gone too long. It's not typical. Connecting a disease to disobedience is done very rarely and when it does happen it tends to be done by the Nazi Mormon crowd who are also convinced that Diet Coke is as bad as Heroin.

I thought Hammer was a Nazi Mormon. If it was so off the wall, why is it only the critics who said anything over there about Hammer's statement?

Yeah, I don't know that it is possible to get any more Nazi Mormon than Hammer is.
